When I looked at these results, I saw myself. This test described me very well. I am a very logical person (Math and Science are my subjects) :), and I LOVE working with people along with having time to myself. As a teacher, I will need to be aware of the areas that I am lower in such as music, visual/spatial, and naturalistic because those are areas that will not be tendencies in my teaching. I will need to make an extra effort to incorporate activities that are in those areas because I will have students that learn that way, and I will need to teach them well just like I teach the students that are similar to me well.
These results also described my very well. The one that made me laugh was that I scored an 11 on the sequential learning because that is so true. I am very much a step by step person when I learn. I will need to remember that not all students learn that way. There will be some students who will need help as they struggle for a while before it "clicks". In the other areas I was fairly balanced, but it will still be essential for me to actively assess how I am appealing to all of these learning styles as I teach because I will be drawn to certain characteristics/habits that will not appeal or benefit all of my students.

The world always looks brighter from behind a smile...
Sonrisa is the title of my blog, and it defines me and reasons I want to be a teacher.
First, sonrisa is a Spanish word, and it reminds me of other cultures. One reason I would like to teach is because of missions. God has called me to missions, so I want to bring the gospel to another culture, and teaching is a vehicle that will help me.
Second, sonrisa is a Spanish word for smile. Whether I am teaching children in the United States or people in another country, I want God to use me to give and show them a joy that will bring a smile to their face. Enabling and inspiring children may make them smile, or it could be as simple as giving them a word of affirmation or encouragement. When I am in another country, I want people to see Jesus through me because Jesus and the glorious message of the gospel are things that will always bring a smile.
Third, I just plain love to smile.
